Once upon a time…happily ever after. Well, not always.
This summer, Professor Jorge Abril-Sanchez will be teaching a new Humanities course, “Witchcraft and Necromancy in Renaissance Spain, France and Italy”. During the class, students will read literary masterpieces, including Perrault’s Fairy Tales and Cervantes’s Exemplary Stories, and watch excerpts from movies, including modern adaptations of fairy tales like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. All coursework will be in English.
The course will meet Monday-Friday, 10:50-12:15, starting on May 29.
